2023 PATIENT SAFETY AND QUALITY SYMPOSIUM
Registration for the 13th Annual Patient Safety & Quality Symposium is now open. This year’s program, “Tapping the power of collaboration by embracing shared goals,” is presented by Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, BJC HealthCare and Barnes-Jewish Hospital Center for Practice Excellence. The symposium is sponsored by The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
The symposium will focus on how teams can strengthen collaboration to meet the goals of the organization for optimal patient care. Objectives for the day include:
- Discuss and formulate techniques to improve effectiveness of team collaboration
- Develop and implement personal collaboration style that contributes to teamwork and culture
- Identify and evaluate leader’s role in establishing culture of collaboration and resilience
