Virtual Interprofessional Care: A feasibility study with the COV-PICS clinic

Post Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS) is a disabling condition affecting ICU survivors after discharge.Obtaining support and treatment for PICS is challenging both for patients and their families.Our interprofessional team designed a virtual PICS clinic to help Covid-19 ICU survivors and to study its feasibility.

 

Objectives:

  • Discuss virtual interprofessional care in relation to the COV-PICS study - logistics, challenges, and opportunities
  • Review feasibility in trial results
